Formecutting
Forme cutting is also described as diecutting.
It is a method of cutting and creasing paper or board to shape.
A knife or creasing rule is bent to the desired shape and mounted in timber to make a cutting forme. This is pressed into the stock to cut it to the shape or to form crease lines or perforations.
Kiss cutting on stickers also uses the same method.
Most stocks are suitable for formecutting and pose no problems for the process.
