Foilstamping

Foilstamping uses the letterpress printing process, applying foil instead of ink.

Embossing and foilstamping are often combined with great effect.

For smaller runs it usually occurs in two passes, allowing for a mixture of embellishments. To make longer runs more cost efficient, they can sometimes occur in just one pass (a combination run) using specially constructed dies.
